hello ive posted the same thing days ago, but I really want to know anyways I've had 2 blizzards. a male and female for a few weeks now. I have watched over them and had a normal for a few years now. I was wanting to know some ideas for a breeding partner for one of my blizzards:main_huh:

I did see the post recently. There may be people who want to suggest something, but I really feel that a person has to understand the genetic possibilities with any gecko they want to breed and choose what they like. I can tell you that since the blizzard is recessive, you won't get blizzards unless both parents have a blizzard gene. On the other hands, many geckos with one blizzard gene (het blizzard) have lots of little speckles which I really like. You're going to have to decide on your own, however, if you want these speckles to be on a Mack snow, high yellow, tangerine, or etc. gecko.

Thanks. I totally agree on picking out for your self. I know Blizzard is a recessive trait. Ive been doing research for the last 2 months. I just wanted a few ideas. thank you.

^^^Agree with above^^^
But some blizzard combos would be Blazing Blizzards (of any albino strain, but you might not know if yours is het for albino or not), Diablo Blanco (which is a raptor blizzard), Banana Blizzard (which is a murphys patternless blizzard).
Do you know if your blizzards have hets? Did you get them from a pet store or a breeder? If you don't know if they have hets, then breeding them would be a gamble. No one wants unknown hets.

Breed your blizzard to an albino and use an incubation temp that will produce males and females. Keep the nicest male and the nicest female and breed them to each other the next season (yes, it's OK to breed related geckos in a limited way) and you'll get nice albino (or "blazing") blizzards.
