Well in a way the w/y is sorta like a hypo... But i dont see too many w/y characteristics let it grow a bit and you should know by then since its kinda hard sometimes to distinguish a w/y
When the W&Y's originated, they were no where close to being hypos. Constant breeding to non W&Y with reduced spotting has created more hypo W&Y's than what it started out as. I think it was taken in the wrong direction but that is me. They look more unique with spotting than they do with reduced spotting.
Your gecko doesn't really look like a W&Y but there are some characteristics that do resemble one. I think the variation of the genetics make it really hard to determine 100% of the time.
