Hi everyone, This question is for experienced breeders. i have two conjoined eggs at 94days and they just started sweating. They are Incubating at 83 degrees f. and they are on vermiculite. I had one egg do this a couple weeks ago at 95 days and by day 99 it was sunkin in and smelly, I cut it open and there was a dead baby inside. I would like to know if I should pip the eggs or if I should let them be, what has worked for you guys and what i should do about it. i've heard a couple different things, please help me:eek: :main_huh: :smoking:

I never pip my gecko eggs. When an egg starts sweating that means that the geckos died in the egg a few weeks or so before hand. I have never heard anyone ever incubating eggs for 90 days and then hatching. I would check your temps and humidity and make sure they are not to low.

I agree with Mike, 90 days is way too long! Im always hesitant to pip or open an egg. in my experience when an egg has past its due date by that long its probably been dead a few days before it sweats and or colapses. check your temps. at 83 degrees you should be at 65-75 days. good luck

I just wanted to add that I am not an expert. These are just from my own experiances and talking to a lot of other breeders over the years. Good luck and let us know what happens with your future eggs.
