okay... so my big boy usually stays in his moist hide all the time. i rarely see him out. he's really really friendly and seems to actually like being handled.. anyway. a few minutes ago i was walking by them and i noticed that he was in the middle of his tank just sitting there kind of flattened out right out in the open and i reached in and just troked him a couple times and he just sat there and didnt even act like i was there... then i tried picking him up and he still didnt even move so i went ahead and picked him up. after that he acted normal except he was really crawling around like he usually does. then i put him back down and he sat there for a minute and then walked back in his hide. it just freaked me out cuz i've never seen him do this. i actually thought he was dead for a second untill i saw h was breathing. do you know why he might have done this?

also. i had turned his heat lamp down almost all the way for a few minutes and set a pinky under the light to warm it up for my snake (on the glass top not in the tank) so do you think he could have just been trying to warm up?

yeah probably. He might have felt the temp drop and needed heat. 1 of my leos likes to sit behind her humid hide in full view of the kitchen and fall asleep. its really cute lol. This morning she ignored me when i leaned down and said "Hi Euphrades!" She was fast asleep lol. She also does this when she is awake :D

its just wierd because he ended up like that within 10 mins from the last time i looked in his tank. but hes acting normal now so i think he just got cold. its also been really cold here the last couple days (colorado) so that was prolly part of it
