Well this morning I woke to a surprise, my girl laid eggs last night! right in the water bowl.. well seeing as how this is the first time that this has happened. I have a few questions. I created a large moist hide (using paper towels on the inside to keep it moist) and put the eggs that she laid inside. I'm going to the pet store in a bit to get everything that I'm going to need. (including an incubator) now, she only laid two eggs. is this normal? or are there more on the way? she's lost a considerable amount of weight just laying those two, it doesn't look like she could have anymore, but I'm not completely sure.
my next question is, since she laid those two eggs in the water bowl, will there be any damage to the eggs since they were being soaked in water since she laid them?

If any experienced breeders could give me a run-down, perhaps step-by-step instructions on proper protocol to follow when going through the egg hatching process, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

You should do some searches on here on the topics you have questions about. You will find many threads with many posts and a LOT of good info on everything you've asked. If you have any specific questions afterward feel free to ask me and/or the forum. Good luck!

They usually lay clutches of two eggs (typically every 2-4 weeks), sometimes only one egg, but more than two is very uncommon. You should be able to find all the other answers you need in the incubation section.
