So I have a leopard gecko who is a little older.. someone gave her to me but she cant be more then 2 or 3. She used to be in a tank with another gecko and fat tail, now she is all on her own and has more space. She stopped eating! She used to be plump and eat alot of crickets. She has a red light and a heating pad, calcium, water, hide outs. she used to be the only gecko i had that would always stay out and she is my favorite. Now that she stopped eating she keeps her eyes closed alot. Only opens them when I pick her up. She seems like she cant see anything but once or twice when i have been able to get her to open her eyes she will go after a cricket that i tong feed her. She cant catch them though is very slow. Even tried meal worms, baby food shes on carpet so no impaction can be possible. Her stomach is blue everywhere and I dont remember it being blue before but I dont know that I ever looked. I am going to bring her to the vet but I am just stressed and was wondering what it could be or what else I could try to get her to eat. HELP! thank you

In general it's not a problem for a gecko to not eat for awhile. Not eating is usually a symptom of something else (which could be as innocuous as ovulation, brumation, breeding excitement) not the primary problem. However, with all the accompanying symptoms, it does sound as if your gecko is ill. Keep her warm and hydrated till you can get her to the vet, which I think is the only way at this point to find out what's wrong with her.
