As much as I really want a one, I can't have another dog. My home complex only allows 2 animals per household (shhhhhh. don't tell the association that I already have 4 cats and a dog
), but luckily, I have found a way to help out pups anyway. One of the biggest problems with rescue agencies is actually getting the dogs. So I've offered my car for transport. At this moment I am waiting for a call to go pick up a german shepherd, some puppies, and an eskimo dog from a high kill shelter a hundred miles away. I'm going to pick them up and take them to their new foster home. From there, they just might find somebody who really wants them for forever.
It's the least I can do for them and it just goes to show that even if you cannot adopt a pet, you can always contribute to their well being.
Here's a pic of my Pup, Maggie, and Marco the cat. Mags is a rescue and such a sweetheart. Marco is also a rescue, but he's kind of a jerk. I love him anyways.
