I have had a not so good season this last year.I changed it to a dryer sub. 25 / 75 ratio and had a much better hatch ratio like 80% but I have a few eggs deflate and stay that way for a few days. It looks like the gecko has punched a hole in the egg but dosent seem to get out what should I do should I help or leave it alone ? THX

It could have broken through and then decided to go back inside and sleep/rest for a few moments. If it doesn't start coming out more within an hour or so, I would be a little concerned. But otherwise, just let it be, they push a little, then rest a lot, so it should be coming out soon. Good luck :)

hey sometimes the eggs look deflated, but are actually the babies changing position and making the egg look that way. I've checked on eggs that looked deflated and 5 minuets later they are back to a firm way. So its just the way the geckos could be in the egg, but if its hatching then I hope it comes out soon. I think I talked to you about manual pipping over the phone? Well anyways I hope the best :)

What you might be able to do is that towards the end of the term you might want to increase the humity slowly to help with them coming out. Just a suggestion see how it works.
