This is an update of my 6 current geckos as they've grown...They are all adorable and I am happy to say no longer run away from me when I try to hold them. I have taken to bringing one or two out about every night and they sit with me while I work on my laptop or watch movies. Thanks to my mother's christmas gift to me, I can now actually monitor their weights regularly so I know exactly how much I spoil them.lol.
The old pictures were taken around September and October as I've gotten them and the new pictures are taken yesterday in our makeshift photo box- (used white paper and a box left over from Christmas).
Let's start with Dandilyon- He was bought from P3t Sm@rt on July 24th with a tankmate pictured below. He weighed about 16g when we bought him. Earlier posts lead us to believe that he is a SHTCT, but that is NOT proven.
NOW he weighs 67g and is steadily growing.
Secondly, we have Geekow- Dandilyon's tankmate from the petstore. He weighed 20g when we bought him in late July. We aren't sure of his morph if you could shed some light on that it'd be helpful.
He weighes 76g now and seems to be showing the elongated torso of growing gaint morphs (although it is not a confirmed trait yet).
Third up is Gaia- she is the most recent purchase of all our geckos- bought on October 10th from the petstore and weighed about 65g. No one wanted her because she was not as pretty and the employees said she had an attitude problem when it came to being held- biting, hissing, tail wagging, etc. We are unsure of her morph but I believe she is a normal.
Now she weighs about 75g and is VERY hand tame. She is out nearly everyday and just sits on my shoulder or near my neck to keep warm.
The last three geckos were all bought from geckobabies in late September.
The first is Achelois. She weighed about 15g when we got her. She is a Hypo Snow Tremper Albino.
She now weighs 60g and is a PUDGY gecko!!!! LOOK AT HER TAIL!!!
Next is Eos aka Dragon because she is sassy and always has her head out of her warm hide making her look like she is protecting her lair. She was about 12g when we got her and is a Mack Snow Tremper Albino.
She now weighs 66g grams and has seen the largest growth out of all the geckos. She's still a sassy-pants but will occasionally let us take her out.
Finally is the lovable Oedipus! He was born with deformed eyelids and so we got him for free. He has some sight issues but is still growing- just not as quickly. He was about 15g when we got him and is a Tremper Albino.
He now weighs 46g and is an adorable little thing. He is my baby and am sooooo glad that he is with us!!!!
