Augh, I know this snake! I know it! It's killing me that I can't recall its name! AAUGH!

EDIT: I got it!!! It's the Black Python, Morelia boeleni. Man, that took a lot of research. Had to pull out my textbook for that one.

It is the Boelen's Python M.boeleni :)

I did see that. that was one of the first things I looked at. to try and help tell geographic location.

Haha, nope. This is actually a very bright Cottonmouth, Agkistrodon piscivorus. Good job getting it to genus though, head shots are always difficult to ID. Here's the full sized image before we caught it:
