I just keep a spreadsheet in excel for each one, for each month. But the files/folders are adding up, especially the more geckos I get. I'd love a program recommendation as well.

We currently use Herp Care Software for all the adults. It is a program you can download from the internet. It isn't bad for what we are doing now. You can keep track of quite a bit of info, plus you can use it for more than one type of reptile. For each animal you can keep track of the morph, weight, length, breeding, sheds, feeding, hatch date, purchase and sell dates. For the hatchlings we plan to sell we are just using excel spreadsheets to keep track of weights and sheds.

I use Degei myself for my geckos and my snakes and have no problems with it being bugy. Check the web site again and read on ALL the downloads that go with it. You may be missing a download.

I actually had some issues with it freezing up when I first used it but I uninstalled the program and reinstalled it again and it does seem to be working pretty good now, I just don't fill in the rack info, thats where I had the problem last time. I don't want to knock it too much though, it's free and the software covers alot, I also had a good response from thier tech side so Im gonna give it another chance, and so far Id reccomend it over alot of the other herp programs Ive seen.

I started using Herp Care and it only saved my info for one gecko, none of the others. After uninstall/reinstall, data re-entry...same thing

Switched to Degei. I think i'd like it better if I kept snakes, but it serves its purpose.
