If I breed two hets (for raptor)
Could the hatchlings turn out to be poss. het raptor since both parents were het for it??

I am thinking they would not be... that one parent Raptor would lead to poss. hets and both parents being Raptors would produce offspring that are 100% het. I want to know for sure though...

I am not sure I understand your question completely. But here I go…

Het. Raptor X Het. Raptor

Raptors
Tremper albino 66% Het. Raptor (66% het eclipse)
Eclipse 66% Het. Raptor (66% het Tremper albino)
Normal 66% Het. Raptor (66% het eclipse and Tremper albino)

Raptor X Het. Raptor

Raptors
Tremper albino 100% Het. Raptor (100% het eclipse)
Eclipse 100% Het. Raptor (100% het Tremper albino)
Normal 100% Het. Raptor (100% het eclipse and Tremper albino)

Raptor X Raptor

Raptors

Hope this helped!

Later,
J!

Ok, sorry for the phrasing I tried to word it the best I could.
I have two hets, that have already produced eggs. The hatchlings were as follows so far: Egg #1 - Eclipse... Egg #2 - Raptor... Eggs 3,4,5,6,7 still cooking.
So the offspring that arent Raptors are 66% het ... am I right?

I wanted to keep most of my hatchlings since so far they look great, and if they were het raptor keep them for next years breeding projects.
So my eclipse is 66% het raptor and 66% het for TA.. (which would be great for my Tremper Albino Enigma poss. het Raptor :D next season!!)

Thats awesome, thanks for the info!!!

Yes, anytime you take two hets, any offspring that do not come out homozygous for the het (in your case, all the babies except for any raptors you hatch) will all have a 66% chance to also be het. for raptor :)
