so are you saying that leopard gecko wiki is wrong when they say that raptors"are a combination of the Eclipse morph, Patternless morph, and the Tremper Albino morph."

thanks for the help does one of these combinations have a better chance for creating raptors or are they all 6.25% raptor?
Breed a non-albino het for RAPTOR to a non-albino het for RAPTOR.
Breed a non-albino het for RAPTOR to an albino het for RAPTOR.
Breed an ECLIPSE het for albino to a non-albino het for RAPTOR.
Breed an ECLIPSE het for albino to an albino het for RAPTOR.

I'm on my iPhone. So haha it's hard to type a lot. Check out the genetics wizard. I'm sure if you type that into google it should come up. If not. Go to my website n to the resources page. I have a link there. It's super easy to use.

That's also not true. Look back at our %'s or 9:3:3:1 discussion, whichever you're more comfortable with.

I believe that is true. 9:3:3:1 doesn't apply here because it's not a dihybrid cross. While you're crossing for two traits, both of the breeders in question are homozygous for albino, so you can treat it as a monohybrid cross and it follows a 3:1, or a 75% APTOR and 25% RAPTOR.

Are banded raptors and a jungle raptors, not raptors? They just have a different pattern, so it must be a raptor, but if not why call it raptor?

There's another post on this board about breeding het RAPTORs together. Then someone said there's no such thing. Can someone please explain the cross and explain the probabilities? Do the traits follow the Law of Independent Assortment or does RAPTOR assort together?

what does het meen

het means heterozygous. every animal has two copies of genes, one from the mother and one from the father. different versions of genes are called alleles. When a leopard gecko has an allele for albinism and an allele for normals pigmentation it is heterozygous.
