I'm rather new to Leopard Geckos, and my first and recent rescue, after reading around the forums got me thinking about what morph she is. The guy I got her from never told me where she came from mind you-I think she was just store bought, like from petco.

Mind you her eyes are not opened due to a eye infection she is currently receiving care for. But otherwise she is gaining weight and becoming much more healthy. Any insight would be pretty awesome, thanks.

Just a normal. She is rather speckled though. This is sometimes caused by a gecko being het. blizzard.

She's a very dark Normal, maybe even hypermelanistic. I have a similar one that looked like this when I bought it (geckoguru's photo), and now is almost black. She had two black daughters, looking like this. Mine is actually a Mack Snow het Tremper, not a Normal. Yours could be Mack Snow, too. It is impossible to tell them apart sometimes; only test breeding can show this (or a hatchling pic, which you won't have; Mack Snow hatchlings are black and white, and Normal hatchlings are yellow and brown.)

Whatever she is, hypermelanistic Normal or Mack Snow, she is sure pretty! :main_yes: I hope the eye infection resolves quickly. It doesn't look too bad.

She is already like 5-6 years old. I was toying with the idea of breeding her when she fattens up and gets healthy, but not for a project or anything. I'd like to keep the babies, but I am still just toying with the thought of it. Right now she's pretty good just as she is, health issues aside. Thanks for your thoughts on the subject and I agree, she's very pretty.
