How do you determine if the leo is 100% het for B.L.A.H. or 66%-50% het for B.L.A.H..

I don’t get how that works?

I don’t get how that works?

100%... Example... Breeding a Normal to an Albino. All the babies will be 100% het for Albino. There is a 100% chance each baby will be carrying one copy of the Albino Gene.

66%... Example... Breeding a Normal het Albino to a Normal het Albino. There is a 25% chance you will get an Albino from the pairing. The remaining 75% will be Normals. Of the 75%, 2 out of the 3 will be het for Albino. This is where the 66% comes in.

50%... Example... Breeding a Normal to a Normal het Albino. There is a 50% chance the offspring will be het for Albino.

Hope this helps!

Ok for 66%
Aprox.
50% het. albino
25% norm
25% albino correct
How do you tell if there het. or not?
I’m now going to answer my own question...
66% chance of it being het for albino.

So if I buy one and it says 66% het. that means I have a 66% chance of it being het. for albino (there still is a 33% chance of it haveing no albino trait)

For 50%...
If I buy one that is 50% there is a 50% chance it is het. albino other 50% there is no albino trait.

It all comes down to is that they are 100% or 0% Het..
The rest is there so you know u have a higher possibility of getting that het (or lower in some cases).

There is no way to tell visibly if they are het or not. The only way to know the percentages are to know the parents or ask the breeder.

With your answers, they are correct. :)
