Hey guys new to the forums I have had many types of Geckos when I was in my late teens. I use to have Fat tail, Leopard, House, and my favorite crocodile geckos. When I moved out from my parents my mom refused to let me take my last 2 geckos my fat tails. She and my dad kept them til they passed away 2 years ago. I am now 33 and starting to get back into owning geckos. My son is going on 5 and very excited about our new project. I now have the funds to do things correctly and a little bigger this time around. I am going to get started back into it with Fatties. I have bought a 40L tank and am going to house a breeding trio of normal non morphs. I hope to surprise my mom with one of the first born.

Welcome to GF. What a nice full circle way to give back to your mom. While a 40L is fine, given fatties' tencencies to just huddle together, you'd probably be fine with a 20L.

Thanks and I thought the same thing also, but the 40L was a craigslist amazing deal.
