Hi guys! Excited to join this site. My name is Sara, I'm a college student currently living in the Davie/Ft. Lauderdale in Florida and just got my first leopard gecko, though I've yet to name it! She (or possibly he) is a juvenile, and the clerk who specializes in reptiles at the wonderful pet store I've been going to for several years now told me that she is fairly certain my new lizard is a girl (she owns 8 geckos of her own along with snakes and a variety of exotics, so she is likely correct).
I'm very excited to have brought this lovely new being in my life and hope to have many happy years with him/her! She is my third "different" pet (aka not a cat or dog or hamster), as I also have a three legged African Clawed frog named Tripod, as well as a year and a half old hedgehog named Hamilton. I look forward to talking with you guys as I work on giving my gecko the best possible living conditions and treatment!
