Hi everyone, im not yet an owner, and am new to the forums, I am going to be getting this set up for a leopard gecko, however Im hoping I can ask you to help me clear up a few things up.

I am currently designing the interior to a vivarium, however due to not having owned one before, I am unsure as to where pieces should be placed. I am currently just looking for answers which suggest wether or not they should be place in the warm or cold side of the viv or in the middle, I am certain I know where some of these already go, however getting confirmation here will give me peace of mind.

-Moist Hide
-Calcium Dish
-Water Dish
-Feeder (mealies bowl or cricket feeder)
-Any other things I may have missed which would required specific placement.

Thanks alot,

Ste

Calcium, water, and feeder dish can all go on the cold side. feeder and calcium can go in the middle if desired. Moist hide can go on either side the cool or the warm. If it's on the warm it will evaporate quicker so you'll need to check the humidity more often.
In addition you should place a normal dry hide on the warm side and temperature under this hide should be 90 F ,or 32.2 C in your part of the world, lol. Feel free to put a dry hide in the middle or the cold sides as well.

Do you need a dry hide and a wet hide? I just have one tupperware thing that she uses and when her colors go dull like shes going to shed, I moisten the paper towels inside. Is this ok?

Its not necassary to put a moist hide on both sides. I keep mine on the hot side and have a normal hide on the hot and cool side. The moist hide is to aid in shedding and egg laying if your getting into that
