i'm using plastic tupperware food things- about 6x6 inches. you get 2 for a dollar at the dollar store. i cut a hole in the top and filed the edges. my leo is very happy with it and spends most of his time in it

I use a butter container so I really can't help you. Put I would like to see pictures of your PVC dry hides.

I use misc. food containers from the dollar store in my area that I hit with a hole saw. I also have a couple made out of salad bowls from Jack In The Box, lol. They actually work pretty well, and they're dark. If you know anyone in the fast food biz that would probably be the most cost effective. Trade secrets, lm@o. You can try looking for a Sterlite website or a Micheal's Crafts website. You may find something good there.

I used to use Tupperware food storage containers as humid hides.
First I had the hole to low, and moss would get scattered about.
I raised the hole and fixed that problem, but decided they where
ugly, and realized that they like their privacy so I put something
around it to make it nice and dark for them. That made it even
uglier!! Finally I discovered those repti-shelter things and my problem
was solved :main_thumbsup:

I use rubbermade food storage con. little more expensive and not as green as recycling a margarine container but I am a little anal when it comes to stuff like that. their about 5" in diameter, squat round with dark red tops perfect for a single female they fit perfect in the 15qt. containers. i take a 2" forstner bit and cut a hole in the top. Never once had a problem with tipping over even for the really fat girls. got them at target a couple years ago, I did a search and did not see them on their site.
