Okay, I am probably going to get a leopard gecko, I have been learning as much as I can about them, what I dont know is what they mean by "Humid hides" and
"dry hides"

A "dry hide" refers to any area the leo can hide and not be seen. There should be 1 on the hot end of the tank, and 1 on the cool end of the tank. In addition there should be a "humid hide", which is used to aid in shedding. People usually just use a tupperwear with papertowels or moss that you moist every day. I hope that helps.

I use 3 hides in my tubs, 1 humid, 1 hot (both on warm side), and 1 on the cold end.

Like said above, a humid hide is what is used to help with shedding, you will need one in the cage. Very simple to make, I just use a plastic butter tub, cut a hole big enough in the contained for the leo to enter and exit, then I put moist paper towels in it. They do also sell ones, they do look nicer but of course cost $. Dry hides are just basic hides for the leo to hide in, one on the warm side and the one on the cool side.

Depending on how much space you have in the gecko's enclosure, usually two hides is enough. One dry hide on the warm side, and a moist hide on the cool side.
