Hidey takes a bite

I realize that for all of you seasoned gecko owners this is nothing, but in my house, we are excited! Today, for the very first time, Hidey ate a meal worm from his/her dish Hidey's usually been willing to eat them if I toss 'em in front of her. I feel like it's a big victory. Plus she's looking bigger every day & her tail's fattening up nicely. For a normal, she's awesome!

I also switched the moss to being covered in paper towel in her humid area (on recommendation from another post). She actually appears to like it better. She can be found lounging there frequently. Thanks.

One thing that us "seasoned" owners love is seeing new people EXCITED about their leos. Good job!

Agreed.. Congrats and you'll be see that overtime you too will be seasoned after being on the forums and getting to know your own leo. Just wait until the addiction hits and you have 10-20 of them..

it's a good feeling when they do something that you know will be very good for them..
