my lillerd has been in his moister hide ( not sure if I'm using the correct lingo, help me out if I'm not) for a couple of days now, he has come out to eat but goes right back to it. Is this typical behavior?

They'll go in the moist/humid hide when they're shedding, but some (like mine) just like the wet and'll camp out in there if you leave it. I had hamsters, another desert animal, and they'd always nest under the water bottle. Their nests would be soaked and disgusting and pretty much ruined, but they kept on doing it - I guess they just couldn't get over the fact they'd scored a burrow with a never-ending water supply. :laugh4:
