I talked to a guy on ssnakess.com about high yellows like a year ago and he had a male like that. Got it at a pet store I think (its been a while since the conversation...)

Is a nice pattern though :main_yes: Can you imagine RT getting ahold of one of those and making each of the spots carrot (like his carrot heads)? Now that would look cool!

I want one. Where can we buy this morph?
I know that site isnt selling them cuz there trying to line breed and see if the morph is dom or resc. i dont know if there the only ones to have this or if it has poped up somewhere else. I wish it was for sale. I would love to have one. its one great looking leo.

Mmm... A peppered gecko, sounds tasty. I love to add black pepper to my dishes :)

I don't think it is legal nor illegal. There is nothing established about morphs and supposedly anything that look a bit different, you can name it as you want. You could even take an existing morph and rename it as you like, but that would probably cause you problems with other breeders.

Since these pictures were a little harder to copy to my hard drive than most I thought I should post them so people could see what you are talking about. Here are the pictures.

This is what they say about them on the site.

High yellow peppered Leopard geckos (Eublepharis macularius)

Our original female cropped up out of Chris Parr's breeding in 2002 and was inadvertently sold without realizing its eventual adult patterning. We acquired her in 2004 and that season produced, among other offspring, a single animal that looked like its mother. It was fathered by an albino and although incubated to produce a male it unfortunately also turned out to be female. Both mother and daughter have produced eggs for us this season both to an albino male so we wait in anticipation to see what is produced. Hopefully we will end up with a male, which we can then put back with the two females to determine if it is a recessive gene which can then be line bred. I have to date not seen them available on the net but they may well exist. Either way, it will be nice to have a completely fresh strain, and the albinos of these should be quite spectacular.

They are very cool looking. I hope more is revealed about them shortly.

The peppered leopard gecko is so cool looking! I hope that more is revealed about them soon too.

I think that I too have seen them a while back, on the same website. But nothing has changed, the same pics and everything.

They could be an awesome new morph though!!

That is a very cool look. Did you happen to notice where they are located - kwazulu Natal (South Africa). I didn't see anything about whether they are able to ship internationally - that may be why you didn't get a response.

Lemon Peppered Gecko—Yummy!

That's one cool looking Gecko.
Judging from everyone's posts, no one has ever encountered this morph before?
Marcia, where are you?
This is one of the most unique looking geckos I've seen posted here.

I had a few similar animals pop up out of my blizzards in the past. Never thought anything about it, wasn't Prehistoric Pets selling some as well from a spin off of their blizzards?
