What kind of leo is it?

Sometimes they hiss and act mean when their realy young, but they grow out of it pretty quick as they get used to you.

How long have you had Gucci? It usually takes at least one week before any reptile becomes comfortable in a new tank, and some take longer depending on the reptile's personality. He may just be stressed, it can take awhile before a gecko is used to its new home and owner. Leave him alone a bit, just put your hands in the tank to offer food and to clean. Eventually he'll get used to you being around. Once he calms down and stops the viscious assaults, you can try just laying your hand on the bottom of the tank for a few minutes everyday. After awhile (could be days, could be weeks) he may climb up on your hand on his own.

Very few geckos are untamable, it just takes a bit of patience and time. :main_thumbsup:

Getting bitten really isn't anything to worry about, as it doesn't hurt. In my opinion, it just feels like a quick touch and at the worst it feels like sandpaper. My girl has bitten me quite a few times during feeding (she gets very excited and sometimes I just can't get the worm off of me fast enough lol). If he does bite you, just try not to jump back in surprise, as that can scare him.
