He refuses to eat waxworms... i've tried them with and without vitamin/calcium powder, and crickets... again with and without the suppliments and he seems to prefer the crickets-but not much... I got him from a reputable petstore... but he is tiny... and he is much bigger than my normal leo female.... hmmm.... should I have bought my leo differently? I researched and he seemed the best in my area....

He's on the tin side but I'm sure you'll get him fattened up in no time. Leos will usually lose a little weight while they adapt to a new environment so it's best to not worry about it too much in the first week or two and just feed them a few crickets or mealworms, whatever they'll eat. He appears to be Super Hypo Tang.
