my Aft always burrows and goes under his waterdish. wud this be a normal instinct for them cause it seems like he likes to spend most of his time under there. Is this ok?

Yeah a hide box and a humid box should be both in his cage otherwise he will become very stress out and that could or might make him stop eating.
