Excuse the excitement, but us in London, if we ever get more then 0.5 Cm of snow then we get very exciteable, and well, we are having a bloody blizzard at the moment! I had to run out in my boxers to get the bins in. COLD!

I will get some pictures up of the snow tomorrow morning, ill take pictures then, its COVERING the ground, its a good 6-8 inches worth and believe me thats alot for us .

Pointless post I guess but I thought I would share!

I was born and raised in balham, south London so i can relate. I can only remember 2-3 times out of the 13 years i lived there that it snowd, may have been a few more times but thats all i can remember.

But what i do remember allot of was the rain, it rained pretty much everyday and was bloody freezin lol, i definately dont miss that.

Where abouts in London are you from?

Ive lived in Australia about 15 years now and still have a strong cockney accent lol

I live in Chicago it gotten so cold we don't get snow anymore but we get black ice(Clear Ice where you basically can not see it) and it is everywhere.
It is 2*C right now and tomorrow is going to be -1*C which is going to be the hottest day for the next 10 days.

We had snow yesterday and our public transport basically gasped and died. It's ridiculous that in a western country with loads of technology railroad companies are that poorly prepared for annual snowfall. It happens every year... Anyways it is a very pretty picture with all the snow!

Hell yes it still rains ALOT. Typical london haa, Im from the south east mate, right by the thames.

Yeah we get a lot of black ice, I saw a beamer (BMW) earlier today try using his ABS to stop his car in it...Not a smart move ABS does nothing in this weather. Funny to watch though!
