THANKS GUYS!

I know, that is why i am separating them,i am also new to geckos so help me out rather then criticize me. Most of the problems i am encountering are not my fault, i am attempting to fix the mistakes of the previous owner.

ok i would move the leo to the 20 and keep the takoy in the other tank because it seems taller that a 20. you can move all the stuff the leo needs to the 20, heat pad, hides, bowls and so on. and he should be good.

the takoy just needs some brachs to climb on. you can use any hard wood like oak. i use wood that i find out in the woods and wash it with a little dish soap and water and then bake it ( yes bake it) for 15 mins at 250. that will kill any thing that could cause harm to the gecko. go to the dollar tree ( or what ever really cheap store there is near you) and they should have some fake 5ft vines. get about 4 or 5 of them and place them in the tank on the wood ( or braches, bark or what ever else you found) and that should be good for the decore. get a larger bottle cap( the kind that comes off a 32oz works well) and there is the water bowl. they only need 70 to 75 degrees so if the room its in stays that temp you are good. they also dont need a light.

what one are you putting in the 20? If im not mistaken a 33 gallon is a bit higher, so you'll probably want to keep the tokay in the 33 and move the leopard gecko. Also, I give my tokays lots of foliage and they love it, so you should definitely put some in there. Have you tried handling the tokay yet? They have a pretty brutal reputation for being mean. But good for you for seperating them

No prob, I am pretty sure I can get the temps right, i will just steal the thermometer from my snakes tank, i have his temps down pat really good so he wont miss it.
Yes i will be removing the leopard to the 20 gal, he is the smaller of the two.
I have some things for him to climb around it already but will add a couple more things. And the Tokay is really tame compared to what I have read and heard about them, He hasn't bit me yet but i did see him bully the Leopard gecko a bit, which is why i am getting him out sooner then i had planned to.
-Thanks for the help guys, Keep it coming.
