Homemade Racks - Heating?

I was wondering how you set up your heating elements on your homemade racks. For example, if you use heat cable, how do you attach the cable so that you can still pull out the drawers? I'm trying to figure out some solutions as it's causing me a little bit of an issue finding an efficient way to heat my rack that I just bought. (Luckily I only have one leo right now so it isn't causing any problems just using a UTH. Price-wise, however, I don't know if I can afford to buy 6 UTHs and I'm worried about warping the plastic.)

Pictures would be awesome, too, if you have them.

EDIT: Another question, is back heating satisfactory or should I be aiming to create belly heat? If so, how is this achieved?

maybe this will help you, http://vmsherp.com/LCKeepingLeopards.htm theres some good info on there also many people have different opions on back heat and belly heat because i have been askin the same questions as you recently. i talked to a friend that has a rack and his rack is wood and he cut out a groove behind the rubbermaids and laid heating tape there then wired in a lamp dimmer and set the tempature with a infrared thermometer and adjust temp with the dimmer, or if you wanted to spend more buy a rheostat instead of a dimmer.....well thats some advice he gave me and he sold me some awesome geckos so im going to use it. hope this helps!

Easiest way for US ppl is flexxwatt(look at beanfarm).
It´s easy to cable and use.
You also can use Heatkbale but you would either need to do a backheat instead of an UTH or you need a maschiene to make lids to enter the cable in:

I cut mine just like animal plastics economy racks. I cut a groove in the back part and down the sides on the back so you can run the cable into the grooves. It usually stays in there well but if I get one that the cable starts coming out I use double sided tape to hold in in.
