hornworms?

I was wondering if any of you guys have used hornworms? I was at tophatcrickets website and personally i had never heard of hornworms before. does anyone have any experience or comments on the feeder?

Those are the same as tomato worms. They are suppose to be good but I have not tried them yet. I tried silk worms before but my leopards did not like them.

The thing with Hornworms, is they grow so large in 2-3 days if they are not eaten. I`ve used Butterworms and Silkworms with pretty great success!

I might have to try to find somewhere near me and try butterworms.

I fed some to my beardies a few years ago. They are disgusting. They squirt. Loudly. They leave a slime and a goo everywhere. I had to wipe the dragons down after feeding. they stunk.

Lol, yeah, hornworms are messy, especially with tokays ..
Some geckos like em, some don't, goes for butters, phoenix, silkies etc..
They don't stink unless you do not empty the poo every day, other wise it's the smell of mullberry chow.

I kept a few as pets when I was a kid and boy did they stink. It also seems to me that they would be to big for a leo to handle.
