So here is my extended family, my horses! I live on a 20 acre horse farm and we have 11 horses on the property, only 4 of our own, the other horses pay for our horses, a lot of hard work but well worth it! So anyways, horses are my main thing in life, just thought I'd show you a glimpse into my life LOL!
This is my teacher, my very first horse, we are keeping her until the day she dies. Babbs is approx. 24-25yrs old, she was a kick a$$ barrel racer back in her day but I got her when she was 18 and she put up with me learning how to jump so I will be forever gratefull, she is and always has been more my moms horse than mine. Excuse her condition in the second picture, she was recovering from a bad colic/infection case when we thought we were gonna lose her.
Next is my partner in crime and best friend, Laurentian's Little Dreamer aka Kharra. She was supposed to be a re-sell project and I hated her when we bought her but I was going through a rough time and I realised that we pretty much had the same personality and just clicked. She was the first horse I trained from start to finish, she won me many ribbons, and she is now teaching 8yr olds how to ride.
Detroit is hopefully going to be my main horse in time, he's the pretty boy of the group that everyone except me seems to fall in love with. We don't always get along but we're working on it. He is a perfect example of having all the potential in the world but not having his head screwed on straight
Lastly is Adios, my registered Paint horse. Like every other horse I own, was bought for nothing and was in horrible shape and covered in poop when I got him. I want him to be a nice quiet trail horse, he thinks otherwise and wants to hit up the Barrel Racing circuit
And ps he gets away with everything with those damn blue eyes.
Thanks for looking!!!!
