If I wanted to make somting for my leos is a hot glue gun ok to use or is there something better?

Should be just fine. I know people that have used glue guns for things like fake plants to decorate moist hides, etc. with no problems at all.....

The glue from a hot glue gun should be fine. Another alternative would be aquarium sealant... it is not toxic.
