Hey, so I just moved into an apartment and it has fleas from where my roommates had a cat over the summer. Normally when pest control people come, I just tell them not to spray in the room with the lizard, and I keep the door shut. But since my room has carpet as well, I can't do that this time if I want the fleas gone.
They told us that everyone would have to leave the house for at least three hours, and I was wondering how this would affect my gecko? I also breed mealworms and superworms and don't want them being harmed by the spray, so what do I do? Is it safe to leave them in the apartment or should I just drive around with them for three hours? I don't really have anywhere else to take them.
Unless putting them in the bathroom and closing the door would protect them, but that makes me uneasy as I'm not there to make sure the pest control people stay out of there.
I'm also concerned about further stressing out my lizard, as we just made a 5 hour road trip two days ago and she was not happy at all about that. Also will it ever be safe after all to let my leo walk on the carpet? I know pesticides tend to linger for a long time.
Sorry for the barrage of questions, and thanks for your time.
