i have a question. can house geckos eat things like fruit or baby food?

House geckos really aren't kept in Captivity that much, So I doubt you will be able to get an answer. I mean it seems possible I`m pretty sure someone will come along.

I keep some mediterranean house geckos. I just feed bugs and mine do great. They are very under rated geckos. They are very vocal and prolific. Tyler.

The only thing I ever saw them eat around my house in Hawaii was bugs.....They stayed around the porch lights at night and got their bellies full!

We kept house geckos at the store I work at. The best diet for them is one of crickets, and sometimes very small mealworms.

Fruit /could/ be offered to them, but it might make their stool runny (which probably isn't fun for them or you).

So, you could, but it probably would not be in the best interest of the geckos. Definitely stick to an insectivore diet.

why don't too many people keep house geckos? they seem awesome, and they're for sale at my local petco.
