Last year i put 2 or 3 to one 6qt container, but i was short on space and containers. I did not have any problems with them biting tails or anything like that. But i made sure each one was fed plenty. If you do not feed them enough they will more than likely go after anothers tail. Also i was concerned that a tail might get bitten off so i checked on them frequently.
