I don't actually have any hatchlings yet but i have a little sterlite container all ready for each one when the eggs start hatching. We plan on having one per container so their is no dominence issues right off the bat.

I keep clutchmates together if they are incubated under 85F.

I think it´s easiert to raise them alone(for the identifiation) but housing 2-5 together is no Problem I think(know many breeders doing it).

I keep all of my babies separated. I tried keeping clutch mates together but found out that they still had squables. There were 4 hides in the cage, 2 water dishes, two feeding dishes. Once I saw one bullying the other I decided to keep all of them separate.

Same here, we doubled up on all dishes and thought they'd be happier together, but they seemed more stressed than anything...I saw one snap at the other and separated them right away.

Last year i put 2 or 3 to one 6qt container, but i was short on space and containers. I did not have any problems with them biting tails or anything like that. But i made sure each one was fed plenty. If you do not feed them enough they will more than likely go after anothers tail. Also i was concerned that a tail might get bitten off so i checked on them frequently. This year i am all set up so i will be housing 1 to each container.

It is really up to you. Just keep in mind if they are hungry they will go after tails.

I house temp sexed females 2 to an enclosure, for the sake of socialization... and to save space. They put on weight fine, and there is little fighting, and they are less skittish.

I keep my hatchlings housed separately in their own 6 qt tub or 5 gal aquarium. I had a few housed together last year, and after seeing one baby raptor almost swallow the foot of another baby raptor while going for a small superworm, I always keep them individually now.

Ciao Maru :D

One geckos one box.

The risk of food competition is high if you take the geckos in pairs.
I have tested, 2 females for incubation in 1 box and 2 males for incubation in 1 box and in all cases one of two babys remained smaller because of competition food.

Regards,
Manu

PS: Sorry for my english

I voted 2 if they are clutch mates. I use mealworms, so I am not worried about them grabbing each other. I would say separate at 20-25 grams.

This is what we generally have been doing as well :main_yes: If one gets bigger than the other before 20 grams, we separate them sooner :)

That's the same reason we are housing 2 at a time right now. We also do the same by offering them plenty of food and checking on them frequently. We are saving space for the time being, but once we move and build a whole new rack system, we will start housing every one separately :) The first two we had housed together did great, and they are even the exact same size (both 5.8 grams). We now have them separated because we have the space to be able to
