Just got my incubator today! Have it all setup and starting to stable out the temps as I write this.

SO my question today for you is, "How do YOU setup up your Hovabator for leopard gecko incubation?"

Things like where you put your thermometers, do you use a secondary thermostat to regulate the temps, extra containers of water to hold heat, stuff like that.

It'll be nice to everyones unique incubation techniques =]
Pictures of said setups are a super bonus!

I don't have a hobovator anymore, but when I did:
--I got a proportional thermostat for it because the thermostat it comes with isn't so good.
--I turned the hobovator temp dial up all the way, plugged it into my thermostat and plugged the thermostat into the wall
--I put the probe of a digital thermometer on top of the egg container in the hobovator (and the readout was in the hobovator as well)
--at the time I was using gladware egg containers. I used perlite and water in a 1:0.8 ratio

Now I have the reptipro5000 and use the SIM egg container where the eggs are suspended over the substrate.
