how can i sterlize styofoam?

ok i can get massive amounts of it for free i live on a huge lake and folks use it on there docks but when a storm comes by it blows away and goes to waste there like 2 feet deep by 8 feet wide.maybe even bigger but im afraid it will have parasites in it maybe it will be useless to even try to clean it?

You can probably try a gentle spray cleaner that you might use to disinfect your kitchen, because I'd think anything stronger might melt it. I feel as though you might not have to worry too much about parasites living in styrofoam, since it's not organic at all, but if you want to try using something like that.
