How do I coat mealworms in vitamin powder?

I slightly moistened my mealworms tonight before putting them in a zip lock before shaking them up. I tried just putting them in the bag dry and shaking in the vitamin powder but they didn't seem to be coated very much. When I gave Ren a few that were moistened then coated he spit them out quickly. But he happily ate the ones the were very lightly coated without moistening first. So how do I coat them and still get Ren to eat them? The moistened worms had too much coating on them.

The lightly coated ones should be enough. The powder doesn't need to be caked on, as you have seen it results in palatability issues. It is more important to lightly dust them and have your gecko eat them, while offering free choice to a bowl of calcium in his tank, than coating them too thickly to the point of distaste.

You will find that the Repashy's sticks better than regular supplement powder. Adults only need it about every other feeding. I don't normally leave a calcium dish in the enclosures except during breeding season when many are erratic eaters.

Can you suggest a good place to order the Repashy from? I just measured Ren tonight and stretched out he is now about 10 inches long. He pretty much doubled in size since I got him 5 weeks ago.

I've never ordered it, but buy at shows. It's rare that I order any reptile supplies. But LLLRptile carries it, ReptMart, look on kingsnake.com, maybe even our own classifieds here.
