i ment to say sand not dirt

here we go again :D You may want to think about changing your substrate as sand has been known to cause impaction in geckos (which can kill them). most people here like to stick with repti-carpet, newspaper, slate or kitchen paper towels.

as far as her laying eggs, she is digging to find a good spot to lay the eggs. if you dont already, you NEED to have a moist hide in the cage and get it in there very soon. a simple one would consist of a small tupperware dish (5 inches in diameter x 3 inches high), with some type of substrate like moss or vermiculite, that needs to be kept moist. 99% of the time, the leo will lay her eggs in there.

also, you need to think about how you are going to incubate the eggs. if you cant afford an incubator right now, the easiest way would be to put the in a small tupperware dish (2x2x2 inch with some moist vermiculite (wet it and then squeeze out all the water you can). then place the eggs in the same way they were layed (use a sharpie to put a dot on the top of the egg before you remove them). then put the lid on and stick the dish in a warm part of your house. (preferably atleast 78-80). open the container once a week to let fresh air in, and then put the lid back on. after waiting about 60 days and with a little luck, instant geckos!

if you dont mind, you should post a picture of the cage setup, so we can give you some pointers about what you need or dont need in there for your leo's to be healthy and happy.

Its good to see you are on here learning more about your geckos. try reading some care-sheets about your geckos, like THIS ONE from Golden Gate Geckos, to make sure you have everything you need for them, and dont be afraid to ask questions.

Can people not post ambiguous topics?

Because in the forums I come from, with topics named "how do i..." or "question..." would get the topic locked

I think that if you aren't going to have anything to contribute to a thread, then just don't post it in and ignore it, if it bothers you so much.

Yeah, well its more of a reccomendation to him, you shouldnt make ambiguous topics, it seems too vague and makes less users come and awnser.

Mandi is absolutely right. I think we all learned as children, 'if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all'. If something bothers you, ignore it. If someone violates the TOS, report the post to the moderating staff. Thanks.

GeckoForums.net IS NOT like 'other' forums, and this is why it is as successful as it is for the short time it has been up. Since strict protocol is the environment you are used to, then surely you won't have a problem when the Admin. here calls it to your attention that you seem to be making your own rules and not following the rules of this website.

I would like to urge you to read the TOS and stop the antagonism towards other members.
