How do i post a picture from my computer?

Hi.

I would like to post a picture of my gecko on the forum, but when i go to insert image it just says URL, which for me means it is from an external site, while my gecko would be form my own hard drive

Could somebody please give me a list of what to do?

Go to Photobucket.com. Make a account(all free) and upload the pics from your computer. Then, click the image link, which looks like this

http://i1096.photobucket.com/albums/g324/loachlover/DSC01285.jpg[/IMG***] minus those 3 stars.

Then the image will come up like so
[IMG]http://i1096.photobucket.com/albums/g324/loachlover/DSC01285.jpg

This makes it easy to post pics ANYWHERE on the web. They also give you a direct link, Url and embed code. You only need the image link. The Url can be used for uploading avatars and user photos.

They also have an amazing editing software. Its all free and online, no downloads at all and the number of photos you can have is in the thousands(or atleast, thats where im at).
