How do you house your dubia?

I used to use eco-earth bedding for my discoids. But it was always a pain to find them when it was feeding time (reptile feeding time that is). Do you guys use a bedding for your dubia?

Whitney,
I am just getting started with dubias, but from what I have read and what I am using so far that seems to work great is just newspaper. Several sheets of newspaper to where they can get between the sheets. Also I use the egg crate like comes in my mealworm boxes standing on edge. Seems like the adults stay in the crates and the juvies stay on and in the paper.

I don't use any bedding. I just have egg crate in there with them on the warm side of their big sterlite container. I put holes in the top and have the top secured on.

I use a plastic bin with screen top. Egg crates and some cork sheets, no substrate. I leave a container/area where I allow some of their frass (poop) to collect. The nymphs eat the frass because this is food that is already partially digested. This is also where they hide. I noticed that they breed and grow faster using this method.

The plastic bins w/ screen look like this.

Thanks guys. Looks like it's going ot be egg cartons and no bedding. I need to cut out the middle of the lid and screen it.

dubias dont fly or climb so a screen isnt needed unless you just want one

It depends on where you live. Here in my place, I share my home with several wild house geckos and a couple of tokay geckos. They will surely raid my dubia colony if I just leave it open.
