How do you pay the bills?

I am a pet groomer 12 years and love it...at times lol I only work 4 days a week. Wed. - Sat. but still push about 45 hrs on a busy week. It's fast money and love when your done, you go home. My husband is a police officer and also runs a lawn care service. I love the feeling of always feeling safe when I am around him. However, worry every minute he's at work...or even a few minutes late.

I'm an accounting assistant I guess you could say, I don't really have a specific job description, I just work in a small accounting firm and help do things like payroll, monthly work, quarterlies, and now that it's tax season I will begin learning a teeny bit about taxes (I just started this past October). I know, sounds boring, but it's not too bad. I'm in school to become an accountant and have a year and a half left until I get my bachelor's, then I'm going to get my master's, which will probably take two years because I am going to have to work full-time while in school part-time. I almost regret going to school for this, I just didn't know what else to do!

I love the job for the most part, though it doesn't pay too well, I made more money as a bank teller (which was crappy pay for the work in my opinion), but the people treat me a heck of a lot better here.

As for affording the geckos, I can't really :main_laugh:, I just love them so much that I don't care what it costs me, as long as I don't go broke of course ...but my fiancee is here to help with the bills, he works as a retain man in an oil company place and makes 2x as much as me! I swear I'm not with him for the money ...no really, I'm not! He's going to school for accounting too!

I'll stop blabbling on about my not so interesting life :main_rolleyes: .

Oh, and I thought I'd ask (not to get too off the job subject), but do any of you who have spouses/partners have a spouse/partner that doesn't have the same love as you do for reptile critters? My fiancee can't see what's so great about these leos, he just doesn't understand I guess.

I HAD one who didn't quite get it & started to complain. Easy solution.....she moved out & i got a new gecko. Life is good with just me & the gang.

LoL! I love that...but I know it wouldn't work with mine. He'll just go play WOW (World of Warcraft) for hours on end and care less about what I'm doing! Though when I'm in the market for a new gecko he complains thinking that I don't need another!!

I... dont? Hahaha, thats what Davids for! Thats not true, I make out the bills, I just dont put ALL of the money into the bank account. But I contribute! Mostly with the sales from geckos here and there. And the odd job for like 2 months before they figure out I have an opinion and fire me Thats the real reason why I go to school, so I dont have to work for someone else
