wow!! thats amazing!!!

i have 2 dogs, a dalmation(female) and a schnauzer(male). The female is a really really good dog however i think she would see my leo as food but would never make a go for her unless we were not about and the leo was left running free. as for the wee fella, well he is the reason my leo stays at my boyfriends house!! he would go mad!! he is sooo spoilt, anything or anyone that receives attention when he is about, gets barked at!! lmao its my mums fault tho she, he is the baby of our house!

The leo had a bad enough introduction to the tortoise - she sort of roams around, so she happened to intrude on playtime one evening. Gecko went all low and stalk-y, tortoise stared at him, he touched her shell to get an idea what it was and she tried vigorously to shake him off. Never let them see each other again. I definitely wouldn't get him near a dog or other predator.

I don't let them interact with any of my other animals - there really isn't a point to and it's a risk. My leos occasionally 'interact' with one another...bow chicka bow wow. :p

The closest interaction they get it seeing another reptile I'm handling outside of their tank or bin. If my leos see a snake, they go into a "oh hey, that's food!" response. If my beardie as much as sees me walk past his tank with a snake he gets upset. :p

Oh..and sometimes my snakes 'interact' with mice..but that's different..

Our dog is terrified of the leos. When we had our iguana, she got out of her room one day and met our poor dog Beau ( he is a huge baby to begin with) and he must have sniffed her and she whacked him with her tail and busted open his poor little nose and mouth ( he got 5 stitches out of the meeting). Anyway after that meeting he is terrified of any lizard so he runs out of the room when he sees us open a reptile cage. In his eyes reptile= PAIN!!!!

My dog Maude is kind of the same. She's afraid of the lizards. One time I had my leo out and she crawled up my shoulder and onto the back of the couch where Maude was laying. Without even thinking, she decided to crawl over Maude. It freaked Maude out and she's been afraid ever since. I had to really coax Maude just to get her to come close enough for this picture.

My other dog, however, is a predator. He knows he's not allowed near me when I have the leos out as he once tried to snatch one out of my hand...which got him put in a time-out in his kennel. He didn't like that, so he stays away! LOL

My dog seems to think my leo is food. Every time I have Xander out of his viv Chudley will come and sit right in front of me like a good boy, which he usually only does if he thinks he's getting something. So definitely never introducing the two for fear of my poor little Xander being eaten! LOL

My oldest dog is terrified of them. When I go to get one out she runs and hides under the bed and will not come out for a while. My rotties are not allowed in the reptile room at all but lay at the open door and sniff. But when I have one out in the living room they completely ignore it. My leos and turtle see each other as food but can't seems to figure out how to eat each other through the glass. My cat like to sit on top of their cages and watch them. She loves to swat at the cages when they come to greet her. But my super social leo stalks my dogs every chance she gets. She hears them playing or running around she comes out and stalks back and forth in her cage with the movement of the dogs. All in all its pretty peaceful here but I also keep them apart and never let species mingle.

LOL... too funny! That's what mine does... sits like a good boy hoping I'll give him the lizard. I don't worry too much about them only because my dogs are both small. My predator dog is just a yorkie. My leo's vivarium is a large heavy one that sits on top of a table, and has a locking door. And when I am not home, my dogs are kenneled. So I never have to worry about them :)

My cat sits in my reptile room all day long. I don't plan to introduce her to any of my pets except my bearded dragon when he gets bigger.

They're not small compared to the gecko! Snip, snap, slurp, gone. But yeah, when they're in the tank they sound pretty safe.

Exactly... I meant small in comparison to the tank. Not like they could knock it over or get it open :) hehehe
