How hot is your warm hide/side? Poll

I find that in the larger size tanks like 40 or 55 gallon that a warm side temp of 96 works best, with my thermostat keeping it in the 94.5 to 97 but in the 20 gal. tanks I prefer it a little cooler, fluctuating from 92.5 to 96, setting the thermostat to 95.

Mine is 94-100 degrees. Im not sure if I should lower it or not.

I have my temperature at 95 degrees on the hot side, on the real warm days, it has jumped to 100. but mainly it sticks to 95. the cool side of the tank is usually at 76 degrees, and at night the hot side goes down to about 90.

after UTH under the tank seeps through the tile it is 90ish, but on the glass next to her moist hide i have a small UTH as well wich admits about 100-101 but her moist hides back is to it...I spray the moss daily. She seems to really enjoy that side of the tank. When she does want to cool off the cool side is about 70 and in between is 80.........i have her in a 40 breeder

the tank is on HD 100 pound rollers so i can tuck the tank away and close the doors if needed. You can see the small UTH at the bottom right of the tank and under it the moist hide....under the tile its self is a UTH for a 40 breeder.

How do people achieve a temp of 75 on the cool side and 95 on the warm end? Does that mean that the only warm part is the stomache? I ask because I could never achieve these temps in a 20gallon unless the air temps were too cold?

The air temp would be below 80 during the day which is not healthy.
Does anyone check their air temps?

The air temps should be 85 on the warm side during the day.
Is there some type of magic trick I don't know about

i try to keep it right around 95 in a rack and tub setup, it just seems like a good fit for me. it has results as well my baby raptor giant just ate like 15 mealworms from a pair of tongs like they were cupcakes

The Herpstats are set to 96* at all times. Hatchlings and adults. Excellent success over the years. Thanks for that info Gregg M
