How is my setup?

Hi everyone,

First time poster, about to be new leopard gecko owner. I have set up my tank as in the attached photos, and I would like opinions on how everything looks? More specifically, does the water dish look too high for a juvenile leo to be able to climb up on? and does the moist hide look okay? I bought it at my local pet store, it was advertised as a "shed stump", and I've put moist paper towels in it. I have a UTH on the right side of the tank. It looks a bit sparse, so I think I may buy a fake plant when I pick up my gecko as well. Any tips, criticisms or compliments are appreciated!

Looks good. Looks like you've got all you need. And I don't think the water bowl is too high at all. He'll know there's water in there by the smell, and if he's thirsty he'll climb for it....Unless he's royally lazy. lol

And I agree; get some greens in there! :>

Thanks! I was hoping it wasn't too steep for him, and yeah I realized after taking the pictures everything looked a little to brown, so I'm definitely going to get some plants tomorrow.

You could get some fake jungle plant that are like five dollars at pet stores with those suction cups and put that in the corner of the tank. My leos love these to climb on and hide in. My one gecko only uses them and doesnt like hides. Other than that it looks great.:)

Another great place to find cheap plants is in the arts and crafts section at Walmart. I have bought a lot of cool stuff there to decorate my enclosures with. They have everything from pretty leaves to tropical flowers.
