I just got my first gecko ever and shortly after discovered that she was pregnant, or at least I believe she is. She looks a little plump, she’s a year old and although she is comfortable once she gets on your hand she makes this chirp and shakes her head whenever you touch her, which I’ve heard is a warning to male geckos that she’s already pregnant, and just that they do that when they are gravid or it’s too hot out. I don’t know if the eggs will be fertile or not, the gecko came to the store from a family that had to give it up just two days before I got her. How long will she be gravid for and can I handle her during this time?
