How long can this last?

i have a female i bought from a very good local breeder. eats about once every 3 weeks since iv had her. id think she was sick but she hasnt lost a gram of weight...its been about 3 months ..how much longer can she ovulate? shes by far the most active gecko i own i just cant see it her being sick

That's strange that she hasn't lost weight. She may be impacted, is she pooping regularly?
I would think if she was ovulating and not eating, it would be strange, and if you were planning on breeding her, and worry that she has a problem...maybe not breed her until you know that she is completely healthy?
She may not be losing weight, but she should be gaining weight. 40g is not really breeding weight, that's more baby weight (or petite adult). So if she is growing and not gaining weight, that could be a problem.
Have you only had her for 3 weeks?

well my SS still doesnt' eat that much :( i haven't seen him eat yet and i've had him since end of june, but there's some mealies missign every so often hasn't lost weight and still poo'ing just fine here too.

It can last forever. Ok, not really. But it can seem like forever! We've experienced longer ovulation periods with females this year than we have in the past (some around 4-5 months). There's not much you can do other than wait them out. If she's not losing weight I wouldn't worry too much. As soon as she stops ovulating her appetite will probably pick back up. If she's not underweight you can try cooling her but at this point I would just let nature dictate things.
