How long do they stay gutloaded?

I'm just curious as to how long mealies and supers stay gutloaded after they've been removed from their food?

I usually switch out the food items in Tiamat's bowl every day to every other day and sometimes give them a little bit of food in the bowl just in case. I know they can become adequately gut loaded in about 24 hours. Does it take that long to become UNgutloaded?
