how long do you hold

how long do you hold your lizard? i hold mine every week for a few minutes. is this okay?

I put the two girls on my shoulders every night while on the computer. Separately......of course

I hold mine twice a week for 15 minutes.

You can hold your gecko more often than that. I'm sure they don't mind unless your gecko is the type that doesn't like being handled. I hold my gecko every day for 20 min.

I handle Elektra about the same amount as Collin. She doesn't mind being handled, and has favorite spots on my body that she likes to chill on, shoulders are a win for her. I think it really depends on how social the gecko is, but even if they're 100% antisocial I think they should be held at least a bit so they can start being tamed.

Tiamat can be a bit of a priss, but she likes my neck and shoulders as well. Or my armpits if I'm wearing a robe or long sleeved shirt with open sleeves. She's funny that way.

I hold her a little every day and sometimes longer if my cat isn't around so she can get some exercise climbing on me.

We get ours out every other night for 15-20 minutes.

Every other day for 10-15 mins. Sometimes everyday. Just depends on my schedule
