With eggs hatching anytime around the end of the month, I was wondering how long you keep the babbies before you decide to sell them?
I know some places sell them after about a month. Or pehaps you decide by weight?

Thanks

I would think it would depend on what they are. some geckos 'blossom' later than others... meaning you should most likely keep those a bit longer than others just to see....

Well I have not decided if I am going to sell my first babies or not. I have seen pics of leopards hatched in early July and I was there late August and they were not for sale then but now 4-5 months later they were. With Tangs I can see holding a good 6-12 months too see the coloring and pattern but for hi-yellows lmao

Ok thanks for everyones input. Its helping me decide which rack to buy and if I am ready to start ordering food in bulk on-line. And also with looking at alot of differant breeder's site I was curious about that.

Thanks again. :)

Depending on the morph, I hang on to my babies until their genders can be confirmed, or their coloration is developed enough to tell what they will look like as adults. For blizzards and LVPA's, I will let them go when they are about 16-20 grams, and others may wait for 3-4 months.

i was curious by law how long you have to wait? i think it is 2 weeks but i may be wrong. i usually sell them at least 3-4 weeks if they have good appetites and they have a good home. but like other posters said depending on the morph you may want to see what they turn out like.
